This is my all time favorite background on my phone. I took it at gypsy lounge. The burns are from coals dropped on the floor. Its downtown Cincinnati, its lots of fun you should join us all sometime.

self portrait in glass bottle

just playing around with my camera today and thought i would take some shots with my friend glass bottle. the slight distortion is kind of neat. this one was my favorite.

I went to the annex to help out people from church. I had my camera and Kelly wanted me to take some pictures. They shut it down around 5 and let us and about three other people stay. We did a mini photo shoot for about a half hour. It was cool to work with someone other than senior pictures. There was a lot involved with the timing, composition, and lighting was a problem in the little space. It came together pretty quickly and we just had fun with it. These are some shots from yesterday.

I really like this picture for the event taking place probably more than the shot itself. I would love to go sit by an old road. you know those old roads with so much character; you can drive down it over and over again and find something new each time. It just looks like a fun shot to take I think I might try something like this soon, maybe tonight.
The shot is great though right, the colors are vivid the lights passing by light up the shot so that it isn't just a shot of the stars and a silhouette of a tree. And you can get lost looking at the motion of the stars. Great job Carlos jm

long days

It has been a good couple of days. I have been quite busy even if it was just busy enjoying life. So I don't have much time but these are my avorite pictures on the web for today. no explanations; I just like them.

daisy thief

I put these together for my mom on my way home I stopped by the side of the road and picked the flowers and then bought a cool bottle to put them in and empty the contents because I have never liked apple cider. It was quick and like 4 dollars for the bottle but I liked that it made an impact on her day. Treat your moms nice.

there is something about the way she stands, with her little feet stacked in such a way, that reminds me of my mother. thank You Lord for these sweet little feet...

point&shoot adventures

Today I had my camera with me practically all day and I was doing some random point and shoot stuff. I got a couple good ones so I thought I'd them up here.

i heart fall

when i look at this picture i can smell fall...and i love that. there is just that unmistakable aroma that dances through the air come september. pumpkins and piggytails and jean jackets. i heart fall.

I am currently listening to music, looking at the stars, and thinking about how much fun life will be after I downsize and simplify my life. This picture describes how I want to take time to photograph the things in my life that I never wane to forget. This is my goal as a photographer I want to capture joy pain anger and the simplicity and complexity of life. I'm setting a goal for the next 2 months. The goal is that I take time to realize my surroundings and not to waste time when I could be productive but to still throw myself into everything and enjoy every part of whatever it is I'm involved in at the time.

I think I'm gonna try some toy photography out. This elephant inspired me haha. Nah I just wanted to take a picture of it but I might try some more like this. Ill post them when I get more done.

eleven oh seven

just wanted to get my first post out of the way with a quick, random, totally sweet pic from my cell phone. i loved how she wrapped her little arm around his neck and i tried to get a good picture, only problem was that my phone has a semi-crappy camera in night situations so i kept deleting the blurry ones. this one made the "save" cut because it reminded me of real life. sometimes life is a little blurry and fuzzy but in the end, if you are lucky, you can still see the beauty in it:)

This photo caught my eye with the green and awesome vivid colours. When i look at it more I wish i could go there. The isolation would be nice for a couple of days. Just to get away for a little while and rest. I could walk around barefoot and take some pictures and read a book. That's why i picked this flickr photo of the week from Ilikethenight.
